A Few More Because I Said So's

* Unless it's a question, never start a sentence with the word which.

* Don't start a sentence with the word hopefully.

* If you have written the words "in today's society," delete them immediately.

* Don't bother renting the movie Because I Said So.

Why no "hopefully" at the beginning of a sentence????

It's actually not the big of a deal if you do start a sentence with the word "hopefully", but it keeps coming up lately when I read about grammar. Technically, "hopefully" means "with hope," so if my sentence is "Hopefully, I will see Mike's awesome band Blade of Grass this weekend," then I am saying that when I see Mike's band I will be filled with hope, but what I mean to say is that I hope to see his band. But, now that I think about it, I'm being too pedantic. Who cares? I think I am still going to use "hopefully" to start sentences.
