Technically, "hopefully" means "with hope," so if my sentence is "Hopefully, I will see Mike's awesome band Blade of Grass this weekend," then I am saying that when I see Mike's band I will be filled with hope, but what I mean to say is that I hope to see his band. But, now that I think about it, I'm being too pedantic. Who cares?
