The Grammarmobile (Re)rises

As many of you know, last year, I converted my car into a grammarmobile. Well, a few months ago, I was driving along in my grammarmobile promoting grammar awareness throughout the streets of Orange County, and this bitc ..., I mean woman, one lane over was as passionate about making a right hand turn as I am about grammar. Consequently, she didn’t seem to care that there was actually a car in the right lane. So my grammarmobile and I plowed right into her--and the grammarmobile was totalled.

But ... there’s good news.

The police officer deemed it her fault (even though she totally started crying and complaining of a sore neck as soon as the cops arrived).

And, more important, I got a new car and made a new and improved grammarmobile.

Finally, I can return to my career as a grammar vigilante--fighting grammar crimes and protecting punctuation. AND it's eco-friendly.

Check her out:

Do you think I should add more punctuation marks (because I've got 'em), or do you like it as is?

Ha! I like it as it is but... if you've got 'em, flaunt 'em. (Uhm, the extra punctuation marks, I mean.)

I can only think she was anti- grammar, ramming into your car like that. Will the hate never stop?

Love the new car. Add more if you've got them!

Jenny Jubilee scours the streets in search of her nemesis Ms. Bitch and her trademark neck brace...when Jenny fills up her gas tank she forgets for a moment that the question marks on her car belong to her, not the Riddler...

As much as I love the car, should it not be "I brake for periods"? Though well done on stopping that car, and getting a brand new Grammarmobile :)

Mark, thank you. You are a life saver. Can I blame the people at the shop who cut the letters? Who cares? I am going to!

Awww I thought I had stumped the queen of grammar, though I really thought you wouldn't make such a careless mistake :)

Yikes, sorry to hear about the accident, but the new ride looks awesome. Love what you've done to it.

1) You most definitely own the coolest Prius in the world. 2) I only hate people when I'm in a car. Seriously, I think holding a key short-circuits a lot of brains. 3) Glad you're OK and got a sweet new ride out of it. :)

Wait! You failed to mention how you were after the accident. Can I safely assume that you were fine?
I do like the car. I'll like it better when you are escorted by police on your way to every signing event or interview, however.
You think I'm kidding...

Although I'm sorry you had to deal with the stress of a car accident, I think it's awesome about your spiffy new grammermobile. This is seriously AWESOME. :)

glad you guys were both ok...and you got a new car! or grammar mobile out of it...I have never heard, seen or thought of promoting grammar awareness so I would have been reading all that stuff on your car and probably be the one to cross over the lane...
I am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can.

I think there should be semicolons on your side mirrors, Vonnegut be damned (not really for the damning part, but you get the idea).

Glad you're okay! Love the new Grammarmobile!

Sorry about your crash. Glad you got a hot new ride. My favorite part is the "My other car" phrase. The more punctuation marks the better, right?

I love this car! I can absolutely see myself driving around in something like this! Awesome job on it- sorry to hear about your accident though.

Its beauty brings a tear to my eye. I fear that more punctuation would detract from the message.

Thats one of the most awesomest cars I've seen in a long time!

I LOVE IT! Perfect. But . . . can you add a semi-colon? Just for fun?

First off, glad you were not injured.
Re: punctuation marks, I personally like commas, so, it would have been nice to, you know, see some.

I brake for periods! is my favorite one. Very clever.

I'm glad you're okay and you got a new and improved car out of the incident.

I used to decide percentage at fault at an insurance company. Sigh.

Cars and logos can all be replaced, but people can't so I'm glad you're fine.

If you're gonna use your car as advertisement, you might as well go the whole hog and scatter a range of punctuation marks all over it.

Have fun with it!

omg - I LOVE this!!! I would be LOL if I passed you on the highway. Unfortunately, unless you're planning a cross-country jaunt, I don't think I'll see you and the grammarmobile in Boston.
As an aside, what a great way to promote your book, blog, and brand!
