I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I heard this morning on the radio that the most popular Halloween costume this year is predicted to be the Twerking Miley Cyrus. "Great!" I thought to myself. "Now what am I going to go as?".
I didn't want to dress like everyone else, so I put away my hot pants and tongue extension. Then, I racked my brain: what am I good at besides twerking? It finally came to me--grammar!
So here are some grammar costumes I came up with.
I could go as the Present Perfect:
Or a Tense:
Or a Relative Clause:
Or I guess if I wanted to be a little more risque and go for the slutty costume, I could go as a comma. That little hussy will punctuate almost anything!

Great ideas, very witty!
I think "Dangling Participle" is the way to go. Or is that just a costume for guys?
just, everyone, please, no more Duck Dynasty, it's already old.
Jenny, you be a sexy semicolon, I'll be a dashing dash, and we will win the party...
Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween!
LOL! Hope your Halloween was fun!
So(comma)what was it?
Haha I love your ideas! Very cute! And I gotta say I did see some miley costumes that were pretty funny. I know I should be ashamed of myself...
Hmm...when I think of the classic "slutty" costumes, a comma does not seem to make my list...
A preposition though...ooh baby!
Larry
Those little commas!
Teehee! Just don't leave any participles dangling! :)
How did you become so damn brilliant? I love you.
*slaps head*
You're so funny! I've missed you!
As you know, I only crawled out of writers' cave to participate in all the Halloween madness. Now, I'm going right back in. However, I'll have to sneak out once in a while to see what you've got up your sleeve.

Great, fun and creative ideas!
I'd love to dress up but I need someone to do it with me so we can go as a pair.
Lol "That little hussy will punctuate almost anything!"
How is it possible I haven't visited your blog for this long? This semester really did get me!
According to your future post, you can wear a punk grammar costume. I might do that next year!
